Caught up with Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo, who are promoting Bounty at the Super Bowl. Had to ask Skattebo for an update on his ankle, even though he's getting tired of the questions. Here's the latest: "I'm starting to run again and people are telling me to be careful and do this and do that. It's like, 'I'm good.' I'm not going to put myself in a bad spot, but I'm working to get better. I'm probably about two months out of being fully healthy. Getting there, but having a good time while doing it." They're even a duo as pitchmen. More to come in a story later/tomorrow.

My bold take: Cam Skattebo, for all his bruising rushing ability, will be the third-down back. Tyrone Tracy has the WR background but he struggled with drops/pass pro as a rookie. Skattebo had major receiving projection in college. Looks natural

It stood out how comfortable Jaxson Dart looked against the Eagles, like on the 26-yard completion to Wan'Dale Robinson below. Turns out there's a reason for that. The Giants have incorporated some of Ole Miss' passing concepts into their offense. Whereas Russell Wilson rarely attacked the intermediate middle, crossing routes are now featured with Dart. This post/over/flat route combination was a staple of Ole Miss' offense More here on how the Giants have drawn on Dart's past to cater the offense to his strengths:

Graham Gano warming up at halftime. I mean, maybe if they need a PAT ton win the game?

Don't really grind the tape much at 2-10, but was talking to Isaiah Hodgins about how he was like prime Karl Malone with the effective (and legal) picks he was setting last week. The first one, Theo Johnson is the first read and he's open enough, but my goodness if Jameis saw Hodgins on the "roll"... The second one, that's a really savvy, subtle pick that opened up Wan'Dale for what should have been a huge play in OT. These are winning plays that don't show up in the box score. The Giants need more of things like this (and then obviously better execution)
