Pakistan is set to start receiving J-35 stealth fighters from China as early as next year, ahead of schedule. A total of 40 jets will be delivered. It's important to note that a toned-down variant will be provided to Pakistan, but it's still a significant leap. Indian Army could become 1st in world to induct ramjet powered artillery shells into service. 🇮🇳 These shells successfully conducted developmental firing trials at Pokhran field firing ranges. 🔴 CURRENT STATUS Despite successful firings, the system remains in the development & optimisation phase, as it requires further refinement of combustion stability, air intake efficiency, & sustained thrust under extreme gun-launch spin & acceleration before progressing to user trials & eventual induction. As reports emerge of India considering the Su-57E with a local production offer, it could fast-track 5th-gen capability before the AMCA arrives, likely by 2029–2030. But this also comes with a few challenges. Let’s take a look: • Rear-aspect stealth remains a concern with the current AL-41F engine. • The AL-41F1 offers only limited supercruise, and that too with a very limited load. • The upcoming Izdeliye 30 (AL-51F1) engine promises true supercruise with full combat load and better efficiency. • Russian avionics could be a limitation but may be replaced with Indian systems, enabling synergy across the Su-57, AMCA, and other IAF platforms. • A major geopolitical challenge may arise from the U.S. over the acquisition of this Russian jet. With the potential to secure improved versions of the Su-57, integrating Indian avionics, and achieve critical technology transfer, this could turn out to be a highly beneficial deal for India.

After Morocco 🇲🇦 even Greece 🇬🇷 is now interest in WhAP, I dont know what is stopping us from procuring it in large numbers... Its our own homegrown platform, tested in Indian conditions, modular in design, & well aligned with our operational requirements. Yet we are wasting our time considering other options like American Junk Stryker, which offers no performance advantage over WhAP, especially when cost, localisation, upgrade flexibility & lifecycle support are factored in.
