The writers really cooked with this one. First.. the way Sylus is looking at the sky with so much melancholy in his eyes. It looks like he’s realised that his sorceress is truly gone. So it wasn’t just about the myth.. they knew each other in this timeline before everything else..and when Sylus found her again and saved her after all the experiments, he left. Gave her space to bloom on her own. To grow up. But he built an empire for her. He waited for her to find HIM when she was ready because they share the same soul. Wait what if Sylus and MC were both getting memories of the dragon myth in a form of flashbacks and visions as children in that nebula.. and maybe they talked about those visions with each other, bonded over them and were there for each other during the process.... And then they were torn away from each other.. Sylus then kept getting the visions and eventually remembered everything but MC died while being experimented on and her process of remembering was halted and when she saw him again in long awaited revelry, the process restarted slowly.
