After today’s press conference with Jason Schilling and the Alberta Teachers' Association (ATA), we continue to be extremely disappointed by the lack of clarity from union leadership. Instead of providing the answers Albertans deserve, the ATA shifted positions, were dodgy about the terms of their own demands, and would not commit to keeping children in school next week. Albertans deserve straight answers: will our kids have their education disrupted in the coming weeks? Teachers, parents and students are being left in limbo without stability. Alberta’s children deserve certainty.

On October 28, 1940, a small nation showed the world the true meaning of courage. When faced with an impossible ultimatum from the Axis powers, Greece's response was one powerful, defiant word: "OXI" ("NO"). This "NO" marked Greece's entry into WWII, not as a victim, but as a nation willing to fight for its sovereignty and for liberty. Today, we honor the heroes of 1940. We remember their sacrifice and celebrate the enduring spirit of freedom. __ Στις 28 Οκτωβρίου 1940, ένα μικρό έθνος έδειξε σε όλο τον κόσμο την πραγματική σημασία του θάρρους. Όταν βρέθηκε αντιμέτωπη με ένα αδύνατο τελεσίγραφο από τις δυνάμεις του Άξονα, η απάντηση της Ελλάδας ήταν μία δυναμική, προκλητική λέξη: «ΟΧΙ».
