We went into this wanting to work with you—we’re genuine fans and were so excited about the collaboration. From the very beginning, we were upfront about our budget and what we can afford to execute the music video, the Photoshoot, the album art, the trailer and press photos. I had moved my entire release date just to be able to work with you, out of respect for your time. I’ve stayed quiet for as long as I could, but I needed to say my piece. Even until the end my manager was still trying to make this work, suggesting solutions and new dates so we can re-align and no one’s effort goes to waste. What hurts the most is seeing my character publicly attacked over something that’s not just out of my control but is a business negotiation between our managers and conversation that should’ve stayed private. You targeted me to bring me down. I’ve decided to leave the whole screen recording here for full transparency as we have nothing to hide. I thought this was something we had agreed on to talk about in person. We are now in contact with our legal team about a defamation suit. I hate that this had to go this way when it didn’t have to.

first ever live television performance. ♡ still on cloud 9. i grew up watching ASAP every Sunday. literally every. sunday. hoping one day i get to see morena representation in an entertainment industry that so often favors light-skinned artists and public figures. hopefully i get to be the influence i once so badly wanted, for the little morena girls to grow up thinking they don’t have to whiten their skin or succumb to beauty standards that wash away their true beauty. 🥺🤍

thank you to everyone who watched, shared, and showed love to my from the block performance. 🥹 this was especially meaningful because every person who brought the vision to life, from the director and crew to the styling and production, was filipino. it’s been beautiful seeing the performance open up conversations about where we come from, the music that shapes us, and how culture can travel across the world and touch the smallest towns. r&b has deeply influenced the artist i am today, and i’m proud that we were able to honor that love while bringing our own filipino story, perspective, and creativity to the platform. thank you to the entire FTB team for trusting the idea and being open to bringing it to the Philippines for the very first time. and thank you to everyone back home who welcomed us and made this so much bigger than just a performance. from Philippines to the world, always. 🇵🇭
