Dear Zakir ji … I am still not able to wrap my head the fact the you have left us for the heavenly abode You were truly one of the last of the Romans—showing us how to embrace our artistry while being humble and compassionate human beings. You once said, “When such spirits come on the earth, they don’t die; they inject themselves into the lives of so many relevant people who make it possible for their name and their work and their effort to prosper and go forward.” These words resonate deeply with me today as I remember the light you brought into our lives. Zakir ji, your passion for art, wisdom, and your unwavering kindness has taught us all the importance of living authentically. You had a unique way of seeing beauty in everything and inspiring those around you to do the same. Zakir ji, your spirit will forever remain in our hearts and in the lives of millions you touched. Your legacy will continue to thrive through all of us. I will miss you more than words can express. Om Shanti 🙏🏼
