Out of 36 years of my career, I spent almost 10 professionally enriching years in Ahmedabad City. Visited the offices where I had served about 25 to 30 years back. It was great to meet the officers of Zones 1, 2 and 3 and share old memories.

.Gujarat Police is wedded to the concept of technology leveraged policing. Apprehending an accused of temple theft by Dahod Police with the help of live footage from drones is an outstanding example of this. Well done Dahod Police.

Great work by SP Dahod and the team! A stolen dumper from Mungeli, Chhattisgarh, was recovered after suspects abandoned it and fled. The team searched all night and used a drone in the morning, leading to a successful capture. Technology in action! Gujarat Police in action.

A very nostalgic visit to Police HQ, Amreli, where I served as SP in 1995-96. Inaugurated a tennis court and visited the stables. Gujarat boasts of one of the largest mounted police of the country.

Welcome to the 9 additions to the K9 Force of Gujarat Police. The mother Chaser, a Belgian Malinois, is healthy and happy. Gujarat Police is the only state police to have its own Dog Breeding Centre. I invite all of you to suggest names for these 9 puppies who will be trained for becoming narcotics and explosive sniffers.
