You'll be able to turn off all animations in Omarchy with a single toggle. Originally intended for VMs without GPUs, but it's also kinda cool on more capable machines!

Omarchy does not contain one gram of bloat. I use everything we install by default. And it's incredible how light that package is: Just ~6GB for a complete system with all the apps, styling, and configuration needed to start doing professional work 🤩

Your operating system should be more fun! We'll be shipping Toybox > Liquid Explosion in Omarchy 4.1. It needs a little refinement, but this is the idea: Random corner radii in tribute to the liquid mess that was macOS 26 😂

I just adore how quickly Palmer Luckey's modretro Gameboy goes from off to in the game! No updates, no boot lag. Just instant into the greatest game of all time (Tetris).

Obsessing about Omarchy's install time was directly downstream from the outrage exhibited here. We don't need to live like this! New computers should be ready to use right away.

The hysteria over that new event modal in the HEY Calendar was over top, but Jorge took a quick look anyway at what was needed to optimize, and it was very little. This is now live. Modal is preloaded, stays stored, and resets.

Probably at least a few weeks out. But let's see. I keep being shocked at the pace we're able to sustain on this stage. It's like we put Mouton herself in charge of the road map, and she's just going: I DON'T FEEL AT ALL 🤘

Omarchy's weather widget got a nice glow-up in Quattro. Ctrl + Super + Alt + W to trigger (or just click the weather glyph). You can even manually set location if geomatch is off. Just hit return to focus.

I normally listen to electronic music with few or repeating lyrics when needing to focus, but I've found that a looping Gregorian chant also does the trick!

Agent-led development asks you to have a business-owner mindset: What's the outcome we're trying to achieve? The less you're required the dig into the details, the easier it is to see the big picture.

Omarchy 4.1 is going to ship with Theo - t3.gg's T3 Code. Because beefs are dumb, and we should all just be excited about the tech. It takes literally just a few seconds to get going!

One of the things I really appreciate about podcasts is how you're able to expand on difficult topics, humanize the discussion, and actually make a long-form substantiated point. This segment with Lex Fridman on mass immigration in Europe illustrates that perfectly.

I love that Dave W Plummer is recreating his task manager as a cross-platform project, so the second he dropped the Linux beta binary, I packaged it up for the edge repo on Omarchy. Now you can tmog on Omarchy!

Peterson on the virtue of becoming dangerous is not just a plea for the individual man, but for the Leviathan too. Well-functioning societies need the capacity for formidable violence, such that they may keep the peace, but paired with the control to use that power sparingly.

Tried to find the Rogan/Trump interview on YouTube but no matter what I search, it's not coming up. Would be beyond bonkers if they're actively trying to suppress it. Must be a glitch, right?

When I say Omarchy runs great on a potato, I really mean it! Here is an i5-2520M ThinkPad X220 with 2GB RAM from 2011(!!!) running Omarchy smooth. It uses just 890MB at idle, and just 1.3GB with several Chrome tabs, YouTube 1080p, AND OBS running 🤯

You don't have to agree with everyone about everything to appreciate their contributions in certain domains. If I can forgive Theo - t3.gg for acting like a hooligan after the Hotwire/TS thing, I know we can all try a little harder 😄✌️
