Mali 🇲🇱 has Fallen!!! Military Populist rhetoric often sounds powerful in moments of uncertainty, but reality has a way of exposing its limits. Hon, Leke Abejide, was the only elected member of ADC to represent the Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives since 2019, and was re-elected for a second term in 2023. In 2025 after the party was hijacked, he was expelled by the faction of the party aligned with David Mark. However, a rival faction loyal to Nafiu Bala rejected the expulsion, describing it as an attempt to seize control of the party.
