As confirmed by Eric himself, his first time voicing Daffy Duck was in the 2018 Warner Bros. Animation logo by Pete Browngardt. I had the pleasure of seeing it on the big screen during its debut in "Teen Titans Go! To the Movies". Truly a tragic loss. #RIPEricBauza

Memories of this show on YTV are very vague at best, but I love Carlos Ramos' lineless art style. However, I'm still scratching my head wondering how they got JOHN K. OF ALL PEOPLE to make a cameo years after his firing from and bad cooperation with Nickelodeon!

While the spin-off series is just fine based on what I've seen, the original Brad Bird-directed episode from "Amazing Stories" is an underrated gem that deserves more recognition for helping start the TV animation renaissance. Visually, it was practically on theatrical levels.

Eh. While I kinda expected "Ted" to look like Seth's other cartoons, I'm a little disappointed that Rough Draft Studios is using the same sterile style of animation timing. Anyway, let's look back at their more fluid work on Stewie and Brian at the 2007 Emmys.

I'm in severe disbelief about Guy Moon's passing. He was like the Carl Stalling of 2000s cartoons with how memorably cheery and in-sync with the actions on screen his scores were. A prime example is the "Fairly OddParents" episode "Pipe Down!"

"Liquid Television" deserves more recognition during this current indie animation boom. One short film showcased on the program was "Technological Threat" by Bill Kroyer, Rich Moore, and Brian Jennings. It is a great cartoon that should be relevant today in an age of AI fears.

I like to think of Tim Curry as the John Ratzenberger of Klasky Csupo, a recurring voice actor at the studio who comes off as a good luck charm. Other than Nigel, King Chicken from "Duckman" was a highlight of his career.

The ultimate Disney TV cartoon and the most nostalgic portrayal of Mickey and friends, IMO! I rewatched the first few episodes last night and forgot until now how hilarious "Hickory Dickory Mickey" is. I love how oddly specific Mickey's promises were in the flashbacks.

To highlight just one favorite performance of hers, Tress' Wilma Flintstone voice, heard here in "The Flintstones: On the Rocks", deserves more love when talking about current voice actors playing legacy characters. She nailed Jean Vander Pyl's tones perfectly!

Instead of making the super-easy "Family Guy" reference, I wanna mention that this obscure and underrated Nelvana cartoon, "Birdz", used "Surfin' Bird" as its theme song! FUN FACT: This cover was performed by Cal Dodd. Yes, "Wolverine" Cal Dodd.

Watched the British animated short "The Last Belle" last night. The whole film was phenomenally animated (a 2011 short done WITH CELS!), but this particular highlight with the drunk character tumbling down the subway rivals the craft of that one "Thief and the Cobbler" scene.

I first learned about Margaret Kerry in the "Peter Pan" featurette at the end of its Masterpiece Collection VHS, debunking the longtime rumor that Tink was modelled after Marilyn Monroe.

According to Maxwell Atoms' last livestream, Carl was the inspiration for Tony in the brilliant "Evil Con Carne" episode he wrote and boarded, "Gridlocked and Loaded". I have no idea why I didn't speculate about the similarities between the two much sooner.

🧵Since Mr. Enter's relevant again with his controversial cartoon takes, I'll say that while I didn't despise his "Evil Con Carne" review (I'm okay with his opinion that it's mid), he still seemed to have misunderstood some aspects about the show. (1/6)
