This Kenyan-owned store run by Mr Edward Nyansimera and Mrs Florence Nyansimera is reflection of the entrepreneurial spirit of Kenyans that transcends borders. We have been informed of a ghastly road accident that has occurred, involving four of our campaign team members. They have all been rushed to hospital. The four are part of a team that was driving from Nyamira back to Nairobi having accompanied the United Green Movement Presidential Aspirant, CJ (Emeritus) Maraga. We understand that: "A lorry veered off the road, lost control and swerved into us on our lane." We are following the situation closely. We are in touch with our colleagues. We ask that you keep them in prayer as the Doctors and nurses attend to them.

While I was in Minnesota, I had the privilege of visiting North Memorial, the North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, at the generous invitation of CEO Trevor Sawallish and Director Bette Zerwas. W ith 518 beds for general medicine and surgery, and a Level 1 trauma and emergency centre serving 56,000 patients every year, this is healthcare done right. It is the vision I hold for our beloved Kenya. What inspired me most was their guiding principle: dignified care before profit. As a nonprofit, North Memorial ensures every patient receives quality treatment, whatever their ability to pay. Kenyans deserve that same dignity. They do not deserve the shambolic SHA, which takes millions from ordinary citizens without delivering commensurate service. My government will make it a top priority to build a health system where pooled contributions guarantee efficient, effective coverage for every Kenyan, regardless of financial means. We have the expertise already. I have met Kenyan health workers here in the US doing exceptional work. What they need now are systems that work. You can count on me to build those systems. #UkatibaCaravan #Healthcare

Seven days ago, I called on President William Ruto to discharge his constitutional and administrative duty to release the report of the National Taskforce on Police Reforms, which I submitted to him on 16 November 2023. That call remains unanswered. The President had before him the historic occasion of Katiba Day to release this report and set in motion its implementation. He let the moment pass. I now have the solemn responsibility to make the report public. I am in the final stages of consultation with various stakeholders and shall communicate the next steps in due course. Kenya deserves police institutions that serve and protect her people. #Ukombozi2027

This process is anchored in Articles 1, 38, 81, and 86, the Elections Act, the Election Offences Act, and the jurisprudence of our courts, including the Maina Kiai case and the Supreme Court decisions of 2017 and 2022. Anything not in the Constitution cannot be allowed.
