ದೇವರು ವರನೂ ಕೊಡಲ್ಲ, ಶಾಪನೂ ಕೊಡಲ್ಲ. ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಅವಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಏನು ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಮುಖ್ಯ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯನವರು. ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ, ಬೆಳೆದು, ಹೋರಾಟದ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಜಕೀಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯದ ಹರಿಕಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಡವರ ಬಂಧುವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮೀಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಸಿಎಂ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಯಶಸ್ವಿ, ಪ್ರಭಾವಶಾಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ದೀರ್ಘಾವಧಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿ ಜನಮಾನಸದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ಅವರು, ಭಾರತೀಯ ರಾಜಕಾರಣದ ಧೀಮಂತ ನಾಯಕ. ಜನಪರ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಅವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಅವಿಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ. ಸುಮಾರು ಐವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅವರ ಅಗಾಧ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಅನುಭವ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಳಕಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಜನಪರ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಸದಾ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ. 2020ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ದಿನದಿಂದಲೂ ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೆ, ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯನವರು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಗಲಿಗೆ ಹೆಗಲು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಪಕ್ಷ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜೊತೆಯಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಆಡಳಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಸಚಿವನಾಗಿ, ಉಪಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ನನ್ನ ಭಾಗ್ಯ. ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಹಿತದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಹಾಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಬಲವರ್ಧನೆಗೆ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ, ಹಿರಿಯ ಅನುಭವ ನಮಗೆ ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಲಿ ಎಂದು ಆಶಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಪ್ರಗತಿಗಾಗಿ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯೋಣ. ಬಹಳ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನೆನೆಗುದಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದ ಬಿಡದಿ ಟೌನ್ಶಿಪ್ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಮರುಜೀವ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಇದನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವದರ್ಜೆಯ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳು, ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ, ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣ, ಉದ್ಯಾನವನ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುಸಜ್ಜಿತ ವಸತಿ ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ಎಐ ಸಿಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಗ್ರೇಟರ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿರುವ ಈ ಬೃಹತ್ ಯೋಜನೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಚಿತ್ರಣವನ್ನೇ ಬದಲಿಸಲಿದೆ. ರೈತರ ಹಿತರಕ್ಷಣೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆದ್ಯತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಿಂದಿನ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಎಕರೆಗೆ ಕೇವಲ ₹25 ಲಕ್ಷ ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪ್ರತಿ ಎಕರೆಗೆ ₹3 ಕೋಟಿಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡಲು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದೆ. ಹಣದ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿ ಬಯಸುವ ರೈತರಿಗೆ 50% ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಿದ ಜಾಗವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಈ ಭೂಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಐಚ್ಛಿಕವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಜಮೀನು ನೀಡಲು ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲದ ಯಾರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ಒತ್ತಾಯವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಯುವಜನತೆಗೆ ಅಪಾರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾವಕಾಶ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಅನ್ನದಾತರಿಗೆ ಗೌರವಯುತ ಜೀವನ ಒದಗಿಸಲು ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹಕಾರವಿರಲಿ.
