A practical use case for GPT-6 Astra's 3D capabilities: the era of personalized objects I needed a custom door stopper, took two pictures with a measuring tape next to it and fired off a prompt to ChatGPT Work. 10 minutes later I had a design that was fully printable and worked flawlessly.

One of the coolest things with Codex for Chrome is combining it with subagents so you can test things like multiplayer games! Available for both macOS and Windows. Happy Codexing

I never use my iPhone’s camera button. So I made it call my dot. We just shipped dot widgets and Action button support on iOS. Here’s how to set those up, plus the Shortcuts trick I used for the camera button.

A picture may be worth a thousand words, but editing one shouldn’t take a thousand-word prompt. Point at a character. Erase what should disappear. Comment where the title should change. Here’s the new image editing workflow in ChatGPT and Codex on desktop.

Yes, those are actual bricks, not just imagegen. GPT-6 Astra designed them in Bricklink Studio, then rendered this 4K video in Blender. Least practical but most fun. Parts lists if you want to build one:

You should build your dream macOS app right now! The "Build macOS App" plugin in Codex is wild. Used voice dictation to build an app I wanted for a while in <7 min (+6 min of tweaking). Couldn't believe how quickly it was done. Prompt is in the video and in the tweet below.

💡 Small Codex tip: You don't have to be limited to looking at one thread at a time. 🪟 Open multiple full windows in parallel 💬 Use /side to fork a conversation to ask temporary follow ups 🛟 You can also set a hot key for the Codex pop up Window to quickly fire off new tasks

I put Codex into DOOM using Codex app server. Codex modified the actual game files and modified the game engine to render the terminal interface natively and have Codex engage with the game.

💡 Friday Codex tip: If you are using the Codex app and regularly find yourself copy and pasting text from error messages or plans from other apps into Codex to start a new task, you can use Raycast deeplinks to map it to a hotkey.

Reminder: You can use Codex code review as part of your ChatGPT subscription 🙂 1. Head to 2. Connect your GitHub 3. Enable code review 4. Choose between review all PRs, just yours or trigger explicitly with "Codex magazine review this" To not spam you Codex will respond with 👍 unless it finds high priority items. You can use AGENTS.md to shape what a high priority item is.

💡 Codex Tip Create a local environment to have Codex auto install dependencies for your worktrees and create actions for quick access to common commands. Actions get executed in your integrated terminal so Codex can also access the terminal output. For iOS developers check out the iOS plugin that automatically sets up your actions to build and run your app!

Used the updated Build Web Apps plugin that uses GPT-Image-2 to design a UI and assets to recreate Windows 3.1 incl. a virtual filesystem for the MS-DOS prompt. Naturally the next step was to use Browser Use to interact with it and play Minesweeper 😂 Note: Once the cursor is starting to move the video is unedited

I love when Codex outsmarts me! Asked Codex to hack this badge that I got from Temporal's conference by putting Codex pets on it. I also gave it a photo of the badge along with it. Codex found the actual firmware of the badge on GitHub to have a starter 😂

How well do you still know your codebase? Had Codex build a little RepoGuessr game where you have to guess which file a certain line of code belongs to. You can try it with open source repos at: 👉
