A Selfish, Stupid, and Petty Decision for Andy Reid to put a half a billion dollars worth of Patrick Mahomes coming off of a Torn ACL behind a turnstile in Mike Caliendo at LG because of a personal matter with Kingsley Suamataia. Coaching Malpractice.

This is why the Chiefs trust Emmett Johnson to be a true 3 down backup to Kenneth Walker... EJ sells the play action, then immediately sticks his foot in the ground to seal off the DE* to ensure Mahomes has plenty of room to roll out. Its the little details in pass protection and that was a vet move that would make McKinnon proud. *who Benson probably busts the protection on by not taking the most immediate threat not realizing that they are selling duo so KS is on a double with Creed*

I will everyone be there own judge... Personally I will apologize a bit to Xavier Worthy and say I can see why he thought he should just run by the MFC safety...but I still think Mahomes was in the right because the dig sight adjustment is there and where Patrick throws the ball to in the intermediate space created by the play action fake.

Patrick Mahomes INT... You can tell he wants to settle Rashee Rice Down to protect him from the driving safety, but Rice sees all the open field at the hash to run to. Half on Mahomes for leaving it a bit behind, half on Rice for not securing it after it hits him in the hands + popping it in the air.

Pulled this simply to give Jalen Royals some praise for his downfield blocking...this was a nice UC Run design. The Chiefs need a RB upgrade over pacheco...very, very badly.

Its dumb that I have to do this but Malik's helmet comes off because he twists and falls, the broadcast showed the replay from both angles of Bolton getting him across the chest and shoulder pad, completely legal tackle which the refs correctly threw no flag on.

Needed the Broadcast Replay for Mahomes First TD to Juju because the All-22 won't do it justice... An absolute dart into this tight window even better than Thornton's from last week. He throws this before Juju is close to square and by the time his chest is facing Pat the ball is right on the Number 9 between both Marlo and Roquan Smith

How about Garrett Nussmeier off of under center play action climbing the pocket and firing a missile on the run to Jalen Royals on the deep dig for the chunk. Those are the tough catches you want to see for 11 man.

A) Khyiris Tonga running this route like he knows this play is for him (which it probably was after the FB dive 4th down conversion earlier lol) B) Jalen Royals lined up on the line slips into the back of the endzone to find space and be presentable for Mahomes in a very Byron Pringle-esque first NFL TD for the Chiefs 2nd year WR

I laugh at this dumbass shit because before every loser football fan started saying things were rigged for Mahomes, Patrick got blown up on the sideline in his first SB by a defender...he just aint soft so he got up telling the defender good hit.

Chiefs had few true dropbacks by design yesterday...here is the Trey Smith hold on 3rd and 8. Mahomes gets the zone indication from Kelce motion as MIA plays C6, Worthy gets clipped and doesn't survive the contact, Phins play 3 over 2 to contain the TK out and TT Corner. Moore pushing Chop wide and Patrick escapes to by some more time causing the Smith hold (he could have stepped up and looked backside, but nothing would have been open since Xavier was down).

On a night where Xavier Worthy showed he cant be trusted as a high volume WR, he also showed some awful awareness on this 3rd down Walker screen that was well timed and should have picked up the first. Whiffs on his man block which K9 has to avoid, which slows him down, then Xavier doesnt get enough of the 2nd man that helps stop Kenneth short.

Well the Josh Simmons hold was even worse lol Hands are inside the pads and pancakes the rusher, but gets called for holding and takes 3 points (maybe more since they had all 3 TOs) off the board for the Chiefs at the end of the half

Just because this idiots narratives are easy to disprove, Mahomes is clearly frustrated that on a 3rd and goal from the 10 the isolated backside pass catcher is Noah Gray (which is unacceptable) who was obviously not on the same page as Patrick.

I have defended Xavier Worthy as a young WR that needs development but is still misused imo.... I can see why people say he should score, but I am not really that mad that he didnt personally. Funny they went with a variation of wasp here.

*Disclaimer* I am really doing this for my own sanity more than anything and disproving the idea that the Chiefs get favorable calls with the game on the line.... The last Raiders Possession featured 5 missed calls and 2 of which that should have been safeties... 1) GK almost gets his helmet taken off trying to get back to kirk (illegal hands to the face/hold either is a safety) 2) Chris Jones is held by two raiders in the endzone, you can see Linderbaum reach to hem him up 3) Kolton Miller gets a nice trip in on Ashton Gillotte for the takedown 4) FAU chops (which doesnt negate holding) and Miller hooks his left arm down. *Most questionable* of all of them...however... 5) The throw to Tre Tucker skips and is not a catch, but for some reason the booth review does not stop play and KC cant challenge (Reid could have taken a TO tho)

You guys remember Week 1 the Chiefs got Rashee Rice on a C Gap Insert for Kenneth Walker's 9 Yard gain from under center? We have play action synergy in Week 2 with the Rice C-Gap Insert Setting up a Play Action Chunk vs Colts Man Coverage as Rashee got leverage on Sauce as a result + The C1 Hole Player is all the way in front of Creed at the LOS because of the run fake.

Here is the 3rd and 2 deep throw where Patrick Mahomes got smoked trying to hit Xavier Worthy, just missed it up the field while Worthy was on a flatter angle and had to adjust.

Patrick Mahomes to Travis Kelce TD is an example of a Great QB elevating... Look at where TK is when Pat hits the back of his drop and makes the decision there's enough of a window on the Kelce corner with Gray holding the DB down just enough with a little pump and puts it on the money in the endzone while taking a big hit from Uche after he smoked Benson on an inside move.

All 8 of R Mason Thomas' Pressures... You can see the idea of him lining up opposite of Karlaftis as a power player to create different levels of pressure meeting at the QB is evident across the tape (GK had an awesome game). Add in FAU taking advantages of 1 on 1s (also a great game) next to Chris Jones and this pass rush *when they can pin their ears back* has something.

And What Exactly Were Those 3 Pathetic Chiefs 20+ Yard Runs in 2025.... A Patrick Mahomes Scramble A Kareem Hunt Scamper A Xavier Worthy End Around Truly a disgusting lack of a run game in Kansas City...only the Jets ability to create INTs was worse this year.

Look at 43 on this Jeanty toss...Drue does a good job attacking the edge forcing Ashton back inside, but Cochrane is absolutely erased by Linderbaum backside and gives a half hearted dive at nothing. Jack Cochrane is not an NFL player let alone a starting LB.
