Training the neck should be a top priority for every football coach, player, & team. Adding 1 pound of neck strength reduces concussion risk by 5%. Train 10 reps concentric & eccentric in all 4 directions. End each set with a full resistance isometric hold for 5-10 seconds.

Energy system prep for FB season: interval sled competition Each team has to push 200|400 yards(depending on load). 5 second pushes match FB play length. Groups of 7 give a 30s rest to 5s work ratio. Set winners get points which = full effort pushes. Smart, tough, effective.
