I think this here is the cause of all the marital problems we have abroad. Our women are no longer comfortable with this type of marriage and unless you start having conversations with whoever you want to marry early about what type of marriage they would accept and see if it suits you, these things will always come up. I’ve also seen instances people agreed to this just to get married and then switch afterwards. My only concern is, if something is not done, marriage may become extinct in the next 10 years. It calls for a serious introspection and discussion. Families are being destroyed daily and kids put in vulnerable situations.

This is very very heartbreaking. I honestly cried watching this. He came from a very poor family, they did everything to send him to Oko polytechnic and paid all his fees, he joined yahoo, and wanted to use his parents for yahoo plus, they refused to take the car gift he got them, he tried to force it on them, they refused and shouted, the whole village came to help. Dude left with the car, few days later, he ran mad. Sorry if you don’t understand Igbo, but young people need to do better. You can’t skip the important processes of life, be patient and go tru due process, you will be great later!
