Didn’t realise that Elijah Tsatas needed to be one of the best players in the AFL in order to get a game for the worst midfield in the comp. He’s played 19 AFL games, 6 of which he was the sub & carries a career Time on Ground averaging 56%. Player mismanagement at its finest.

So glad Kane pointed this out. Watch Zach Merrett closely this year, it sticks out like a sore thumb. His lack of desire to defend & costly skill errors fkn HURT. I view most of his performances this year as stat padding until he can get himself traded out of the club.

Hirdy nails it here. Development has and always should be led by the senior coach. YES Brad Scott has done some positive things off field and brought about some much needed change. But nowhere near enough players develop or get better under his ‘world class’ football program.

My Selection Melt 👇 Saad El-Hawli does this in Round 3, gets handed two more sub vests, and then gets dropped. If there’s one thing our ball movement is crying out for, it’s pace, creativity, and bounce off half-back to punish teams on turnover... I don't understand. 🟥⬛️
