Please negotiate with the veteran family for everyone's sake." ⬇️Video is the audio from hearing⬇️ 🐶More background🐶: 🐾Sergeant Snuggles was a 1 yr old PUPPY when he was spooked from behind and bit grandma, who admitted provoking him and didn't realize getting medical attention meant the PACC would be contacted. 🐾PACC proceeded to keep Snuggles for EIGHT MONTHS despite the bite being low level and occurred on site of the private property of the owners. 🐾He has been confined to a cement cell, and not allowed walks even though the workers have told the family he is a sweetheart and such a good dog. 🐾This is his FIRST bite, and he stopped once he realized it was family (grandma) 🐾The hearing was short, the Judge Sarah Mayhew admitted NOT being familiar with laws on this subject yet STILL proceeded to SENTENCE Snuggles to DEATH anyways. (Judge also misstated victim statement (who begged to spare Snuggle's life), misunderstood behavior expert, and apparently misunderstood the law) 🐾The prosecutor wanted the behavior expert to guarantee 100% that Snuggles would never bite again- which she explained you can mitigate the odds down but you can't 100% guarantee anything. The prosecutor then argued due to this the dog needs to be killed. Shame on Prosecutor Roni Byrne!!
