the story of how tws & meovv’s trophies got mixed up yesterday at AAA (jihoon’s pov) before they were going up on stage (to receive the trophy), the writer explained everything, saying that they just needed to take the trophy in order. but dohoon just casually grabbed one without checking if their group’s name is on it 😂 when they checked it, it had other group’s name on it (meovv) instead. jihoon added that the funniest part is dohoon was the one who brought it over then handed it to shinyu (with a proud expression)

260131 youngjae wv live 💬: why do you have so many selfies of dohoon? 🐶: dohoonie took lots of selfies with my phone back in trainee days, but tbh i used to use ipad more often back then, so i have a lot more (of his selfies) there. i probably even still have some vids of us (from trainee days) since the very beginning, so maybe i’d post them someday 🐶: trainee stories? ah~ that, ‘black swan’ (by bts, referring to the 1st pic on the quoted tweet), back then we had a presentation. not an evaluation, but presentation. so it’s like we have to show how we practice, how we prepare and everything in that presentation. back then we didn’t do any exciting song- but! oh, back then ‘bff’, ‘best friend’ ‘friends…’ was it ‘friends forever’..? anyway, there’s a song with that title, the song’s lyrics are all in english and jihoon created the choreo for it. we did a presentation with that song, we did around 2 songs, i think? we covered so many songs back then. like ‘make a wish’ (nct), got7 sbn’s ‘not by the moon’, and me- oh! it’s that! that’s when i also did ‘complex’ (zion.t feat. g-dragon) with shinyu hyung & kyungminie! we did presentation with that. and i did ‘black swan’ with dohoonie

250703 hanjin wv live 💬: pls recommend me the way to learn korean quickly! 🐰: i don’t think my korean is that good yet, but if i had to recommend a way to learn it quickly, i’d say… 🐰: i actually had a lot of korean lessons before debuting. so while i was learning with a teacher, i just kept going; studying, doing homework, recording my voice and listening back to it. all of that helped me a lot. but after debut, my schedule got really busy, so i didn’t have as much time to take lessons as i used to 🐰: but i couldn’t just sit around and do nothing if my korean skills were stuck, right? so i found my own way, by learning through the members. since all the other members are korean, i kept talking with them. and through those conversations, i started to learn things i hadn’t known before. when i said something, they’d correct my pronunciation, word choice, or grammar, which helped me remember it better. so i think if you keep talking to your friends in korean, you’ll improve quickly! 🐰: also, there’s this thing… korean intonation? (t/n: he wasn’t sure of the word so he searched it in chinese) compared to chinese, korean intonation is more flat or like this ➖➖➖ 🐰: back then, when i spoke korean, i was still used to chinese intonation, which goes up and down more. so when i spoke korean, it’d sound like, “hello~ i’m hanjin~!” (↗️↘️↗️) with a rising and falling tone. that made it obvious to people that i was just learning korean. and it was actually the members who pointed that out to me, so little by little, i started learning how to use the correct korean intonation 🐰: so i think you need to pay attention to a few key things: pronunciation, and especially for people like me who come from a language with very different intonation, intonation itself is really important. also, remembering lots of vocabulary and grammar is essential. those four things are important! but above all, the best way is just to keep using the language, just speak it! that way, you’ll figure out which parts you need to focus on more

💬: what’s the hardest to pronounce? 🐰: for me it’s ㄹ (R/L ➡️ in korean both R & L are using the same hangul) 🐰: for ㄹ my tongue is like… (shows it to 42). so when i speak in chinese, i use my tongue a lot for R, so it’s like a habit for me 🐰: so when i speak ㄹ in korean, i say it weakly (not as strong as in chinese). i’m trying, because it’s already a habit for me to say it strongly in chinese 🐰: i have issues every time i’m recording or conversing in korean because of this, but the members really helped me a lot so i think it’s much better than it used to. but i honestly think i’m still lacking a lot at it 🐰: ㄹ… like “oneul” (today), “mokeulgoeyo” (i’ll eat). i still find it hard to sing the song and read the lyrics if the words contain the ㄹ in it
