On Friday, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the destruction of a US-manufactured М270А1 MLRS missile system in Ukraine's Nikolayev Region. Drone footage was shared showing the strike. The М270А1 is a heavier-tracked variant similar to the HIMARS, capable of launching ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles and smaller projectiles. Surveillance drones detected the system near Shevchenkovo village, south of Nikolayev city.
