Charging the Southern Poverty Law Center with a federal crime for paying informants to help dismantle hate groups is an outrageous weaponization of the Dept of Justice and the FBI. As someone who has been a prosecutor and has taken on the Klan I can tell you that use of paid informants is a common tactic used to dismantle drug cartels, the mob and extremist groups on both the right and the left. It is clear that all civil rights organizations are in the cross hairs of this Administration and that folks, puts everyone at risk.

So maybe “Coach” doesn’t know what Memorial Day is and would rather give criminals who beat police and attacked the US Capitol a billion dollars of your hard earned money. Most might say this is unbelievable, but then again most should know where his loyalties really lie - and it is not with the people of Alabama.

Look who dropped by yesterday morning as we were moving into our Southside B’ham HQ. Stacey Abrams reminded us that we have to move so much more in this election. We have to move hearts and minds and importantly souls to the polls. Thank you Stacey for your great work and for your endorsement of our campaign to change Alabama.

January 6, 2021 was a double gut punch for me. First, I get the call early that morning that I would not be the next AG of the United States. Then, I saw what you saw as the attack on the Capitol unfolded. We can never forget what we saw that day. We cannot allow anyone to rewrite the history of that day.” #January 6th

What happened today in Montgomery was a disgrace. It was a complete circus that wasted time and your taxpayer dollars. The people in power made it clear they care more about politics than the people of Alabama. Your vote is how we hold them accountable. Alabama deserves better.

Sixty one years ago brave foot soldiers crossed the Edmund Pettus Bridge in a peaceful demonstration to attain voting rights, only to be met by state troopers with billy clubs. After a great event with folks in Selma this morning we stopped by the bridge to remind folks that Alabama is still ground zero for voting rights. We hope you join us in Montgomery tomorrow for the All Roads Lead to the South rally at the State Capitol at 1pm and then make your voices heard by voting on Tuesday.

Ed Martin has honored a Nazi sympathizer and then lied about it. Trump says he wants to fight anti-semitism but yet nominates this guy to be US Atty in DC? Those dots don’t connect folks. Call your Senators and tell them to actually fight anti-semitism and reject Ed Martin

In 1963 AL Gov. George Wallace proclaimed “Segregation today, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.” Now, 61 years later the Alabama legislature is still heeding his call, this time with legislation to prohibit DEI programs and teaching “divisive concepts.” But these students don’t want any part of it and showed up at the Statehouse to turn Wallace’s words around. Turn up the volume to hear what a little #GoodTrouble sounds like.

For the first two months of this campaign, my priority wasn't raising money or attending events. It was recruiting what I like to call The Ticket for Change, and I am proud to say that for the first time since 2006, you will have a choice for every statewide constitutional office on your November ballot. I want you to get to know our Ticket for Change, so I'm going to sit down with each of them over the next few weeks. Up first is my friend, Ron Sparks, who previously held the office of Ag Commissioner for two terms and was the best damn AG Commissioner we’ve ever had. We’re so fortunate to have him running for it again.
