Not every difficult birth in cattle requires a C-section. In this case, the cow was experiencing dystocia (difficult birth), so the calf was assisted out through manual traction. After assessing the cow and ensuring the calf was correctly positioned, the limbs were carefully secured and controlled traction was applied in coordination with the cow’s contractions. The goal is to assist delivery without causing unnecessary trauma to either the dam or the calf. A successful assisted delivery requires patience, proper positioning, adequate lubrication, and good judgement. Excessive or poorly directed traction can cause serious injuries. If you ever find yourself in this situation, here are steps you should take: 1. Stay calm. Panicking makes the dog more aggressive. Don’t try to yank the dog off it can worsen the bite. 2. Don’t grab the dog’s collar or pull the victim. This can make the dog clamp down harder.

Do you know HUMANS are not the only ones that can have ASTHMA- CATS can too!!!! Asthma isn’t just a condition seen in people. Cats can also develop asthma, a chronic inflammatory disease of the airways that makes breathing difficult. When a cat with asthma is exposed to certain triggers, the airways become inflamed, swollen and narrowed. The muscle around the airways tighten and excess mucus is produced , making it difficult for air to move in and out of the lungs. The exact cause of asthma in cats is not fully understood, but it’s believed to be a combination of genetics and environmental allergens. Common triggers include: 📍Dust and dust mites 📍Cigarette smoke 📍Scented candle and incest 📍Air fresheners and perfumes 📍Pollen 📍Cat litter dust 📍Respiratory infections 📍Genetic predisposition (some cats are more predisposed)
