AD: You guys know I love my walnuts, I try to eat a #healthyhandful every day. They keep me going when I am working through a busy day at the surgery. They are significant amounts of the plant-based essential omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid – our body cannot make this itself so needs to get it from our diet. As a vegetarian, walnuts provide me with my daily dose of plant omega three fatty acids, which I need for a health heart and brain. They are also an excellent source of protein which keeps my muscles and bones strong as well as support my immune system.
