I watched the Arima Kiren 2012 race and Gold Ship 100% was a beast who just didn't care about showing off his full power He wa last place the whole time then decided to blast through the entire crowd of horses at the last second. It's all a game for him. Gold Ship is scary!!

People shitting on this are posers. Sports games on PS2 were often very different one year from the next because the studios actually put effort in it. The soundtrack for each game was often generational stuff. You'd buy the new one just for the music alone

You can't say a game is influenced by E33 on here, you have to say it's inspired by Mario & Luigi even when you can see for yourself that they looked at E33 directly for inspiration. JRPG fans are the most insecure, willfully dense people on this website and it's not even close.

It's so sad Tenchu is now owned by FromSoftware and they might never do anything about it. Even Sekiro doesn't compare. Tenchu is a ninja stealth game where you have to protect your lord from invaders and demons with some of the coolest music ever. It's so immersive and fun

Crazy to think Lightning Returns nailed down a Final Fantasy open world and it has been memory holed. Incredible environment full of life, sidequests with tangible rewards, and had its own friction with the world clock that made it unique from every other open world.

I still contend Forspoken was nowhere near as bad as the internet made it look like to be. Its parkour system and its combat were much more in-depth and I had fun for the $20 I paid for it. I'll definitely continue playing soon

Stay Gold might be even more of a shonen protag than his son Gold Ship. He was very good, but could never get a Group 1 victory. In his *final* retirement race at 7yo, he closes a hopeless 200m gap and makes history as the first ever international victory for a Japanese horse.
