BREAKING: Senate unanimously passed the bipartisan legislation, authored by Cory Booker & Rand Paul: #FDA Modernization Act, ending outdated mandatory animal testing requirements by U.S. FDA, set in place in 1938, before invention of digital computers! Congrats everyone! 🧵1/10

Let Ricky Gervais explain why he speaks up for animals & doesn't eat them, and why eating meat is bad for the world 🙏 🚫People think #veganism is being "woke". Nope! As he says, it's simply about not exploiting animals & giving other animals the same moral value we give a #dog

Today, there's absolutely no need for #dairy, meat, egg, fur, or any other industry that exploits and abuses animals to exist. Everytime you have a little cheese or egg, you normalize and approve this cruelty, and pay for it to survive. Please be an outspoken #vegan.

What have they done to deserve this? I paid for this to happen before going vegan 13 years ago. My biggest regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Every time we pay for meat, eggs, dairy, fur, leather, etc. animals are exploited and abused. Veganism is a moral urgency.

Sorry for the inconvenience. If you are asking us to be silent in the face of injustice, get ready to be disappointed. Ignorance is bliss. Animal cruelty is the most normalized form of violence. Everyone participates in it so conveniently. It's a part of traditions and cultures. It's a habit. It's an addiction. So of course when we speak up there is resistance. But all that means is we have to speak up louder ✌️🙏 #veganism #animalrights #fishfeelpain #fish #lgbt #celebrity #animals #dogsofinstagram #dog

Gotta get that last egg out of these mothers before hanging them upside down & cutting their throat. #Egg/#dairy industry is no different than #meat industry. Be it humane/cage-free or not, animals are exploited for profit, then killed! Just choose #vegan and help end this🙏

Wow, thank you Piers Morgan, you are such a genius! He destroyed veganism with an appeal to nature fallacy! "Animals eat animals, naturally!" Tash Peterson and I HAD NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT THAT! Genius!! #Veganism debunked! 🤡 I guess I go back to exploiting animals, supporting their rape in #dairy, paying for genetically manipulating animals who develop many painful diseases, removing them from their families, bringing them to this world in captivity, and enslaving and exploiting them till the day they are killed. Just for a sandwich. Nature, baby! It's not like we have options and a moral compass! Hmm maybe I should eat other humans and babies too, because animals do that in nature! What a better way to live our lives in modern civilization than basing our morality on what animals do in jungles! If you wanna be vegan, be vegan, but don't judge me for supporting animal holocaust! We also learned from this interview that NO ONE cares more about animals than fharmers who benefit financially from exploiting animals and chopping them up as fast and as efficiently as possible! 💰🫰 Imagine asking the abuser and oppressor in any situation and getting assurance from them that no one is treating their victims as good as them!

🐓 When I was a kid, I had a pet chicken named Mr. Happy, who in some ways was my best friend, especially since I'm an only child. 🍽️ One day, my grandma secretly killed him, fed him to me, and lied about it. Though I knew I was eating chicken, I happily did it, thinking it's NOT Mr. Happy. 🐔 To me, each of these chickens is a sentient being like Mr. Happy or our other pets. They too deserve freedom from captivity and exploitation. 🛡️ We'd do anything to ensure the safety and well-being of select animals. We spend a lot on vet bills and go through tough times to ensure their happiness. We don't believe killing them is acceptable, even if they've had a good life. We respect their autonomy and their desire to live without exploitation. 🍗 Somehow, that connection is lost at the dinner table. When I hear people mindlessly ordering "fish" or "chicken" I think about the sentient beings who were tortured and killed. 🌱 As you can gather from my story, like many, I grew up calling myself an animal lover. But through no fault of my own, I was conditioned to eat animals and their products without questioning. It all seemed so normal. 🚫 11 years ago, I finally opened my eyes. I saw my hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance. I stopped eating animals, their milk, or eggs (since all those animals are exploited and killed). 🌍 Since then, I've become passionate about the food system. Consuming animals causes immense pain and suffering. Moreover, it harms us and the environment we all share. And concerning public health, like the increased risk of pandemics such as avian flu, we put each other's lives at risk too. 🛒 I'm sharing this because I have hope. I hope you can see what I saw, what was hidden from us. Grocery stores and restaurants show us pictures of happy animals, labeling them "humane," "cage-free," "organic," "grass-fed," etc., to make us feel better. 😔 Because they know consumers love good news about bad habits. They want us to buy their products and feel good about it. 🤔 For any business, whether small and local or large and global—whether it's McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, Inc., KFC, Burger King, or Whole Foods Market, Chipotle, or Subway®—which do you think they'd prioritize if the well-being of animals conflicts with making a profit? 💰 I'm not an economist, but it'd be a stupid business choice to choose animal "welfare" over profit! Unless it can be used as a marketing tactic to sell more products! That's why these labels don't mean anything. They're just marketing tools. And I know you know it too! 🔍 Indeed I have investigated humane and local farms and what I've seen and learned is that as long as animals are objectified to make profit and run a business, they are abused and killed in one way or another. 🙏 My friend: I need your help. I need you to make the connection, and do so quickly. I need you to see these animals as the sentient beings they are. I need you to have the courage to stand up against societal norms when they're wrong and harmful. I need you to join me in not supporting this broken food system. And I need your voice to speak up, educate others, and help me fix this cruel and unjust system. ✊ Yes, some people will troll, dismiss, or be triggered. But I'm writing this because I still have hope that YOU reading this can understand me and join me. 👀 If you ever have doubts, join Animal Save Movement and see those animals coming from all those happy, humane, and local farms. Look into their eyes. Imagine yourself or your pets in their place. What have they done to deserve this? What have they done to not deserve our moral consideration and compassion? Is their crime being born in the wrong species, at the wrong place? 🔗 Watch Dominion:
