I was a director of engineering at American Express. I was told to pass over qualified Americans for less-qualified H-1B applicants. Now men with a degree and a decade of experience can't get an interview, and we're told the economy is great. I lived the hiring side of this.

JD Vance just suspended Microsoft, Adobe, Cognizant, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL and Capgemini from PERM. Their green cards are paused. It's not an H-1B ban. Nothing happens to a single existing H-1B. But it proves they could shut down H-1B today. So why aren't they?

Congress just introduced the most aggressive H-1B reform bill I’ve ever seen: - 3-year pause - $200k minimum salary - Ends OPT - No staffing agencies - No green card transition It probably won’t pass. But it finally names the scam: corporate labor arbitrage.
