A Chief Minister Appointed by the Gun Sarfaraz Bugti was never elected by the Baloch people, he was installed to serve the interests of the Pakistani military. Not a representative, but an enforcer. A civilian face for a regime that has spent decades disappearing students, silencing poets, and turning mothers into protestors holding photographs of the disappeared. Disappearances: The Machinery of Fear In 2025 alone yet, over 117 Baloch civilians, including students and minors, were forcibly disappeared. More than Thirty-three were killed in extrajudicial operations. These aren’t “anti-terror” raids, they’re state terror against the Baloch. Bugti, as interior minister and now chief minister, has overseen and justified this campaign of violence. His talk of “security” masks a brutal war against an occupied people. Mahrang Baloch: A Voice They Fear In April 2025, the state abducted Dr. Mahrang Baloch during a peaceful protest. Her crime? Demanding answers for the missing. Bugti’s silence was damning, support for her arrest and complicity in plain sight. “Development” for the Military, Displacement for the Baloch Under Bugti, projects like CPEC and Reko Diq are pushed as progress, but for whom? The military and foreign corporations profit, while Baloch communities remain without clean water, electricity, or schools. Our minerals fund the boots that trample us. Occupation Disguised as Integration Balochistan is not neglected, it is deliberately kept underdeveloped. Turbat! 💔 In a shocking display of disregard for basic human dignity, the Pakistani military buried the Turbat martyrs in unmarked pits at Talimi Chowk graveyard under the cover of darkness. For the past three days, the families of the victims have been pleading with authorities to allow exhumation so they can identify and properly lay their loved ones to rest. Instead of offering assistance, DSP Sher Jan, backed by police forces, has actively obstructed the grieving families. Today, the families were kept waiting for over four hours, only to be met with continued refusal and silence. With no state support, the women themselves have begun the painful task of exhuming the graves and have issued a heartfelt appeal to the public for help. #StopBalochGenocide

In 1998, Pakistan tested nuclear bombs in Chaghi, #Balochistan The fuel used was enriched uranium. Pakistan used uranium to power the nuclear tests in Ras Koh hills. When uranium explodes, it releases harmful radiation into the ground, air, and water. Even underground tests can leak radioactive material into soil and groundwater. After the tests, leftover uranium and radioactive waste were likely buried in the region without proper safety. The land in Ras Koh has remained toxic ever since. Radiation exposure from uranium causes cancer, organ failure, and genetic mutations. Contaminated water and soil poison crops, livestock, and people. Children are born with severe birth defects. The radiation stays active for thousands of years. Pakistan’s nuclear weapons use highly enriched uranium or plutonium as fissile material. Uranium didn’t just explode in Chaghi, it settled into the earth, seeped into water, and air and causing diseases like cancer. #NukeAftermathInBalochistan
