Prime Minister Mitsotakis is misrepresenting the Lausanne Treaty. Articles 40 and 42 guarantee the Muslim Turkish minority in Western Thrace full religious autonomy and the right to manage their own institutions. State-imposed Mufti appointments are a clear violation of Lausanne.
