THE SCENT OF LOVE I cried out my love To the mountains high, The mountains smiled and said, "We already know." Startled, I asked, "But how do you know?" They said, "Who else but a lover would hit the road and to the hills go?" I whispered my love To the waves on the shore, The waves winked back, Saying, "We’ve heard the tale." I asked, "How did you find out? Who told you so?" They said, "Who else but a lover Would talk to us without fail?" I rose and walked Through a quiet grove, Hearing the trees Softly whisper and sigh. Suddenly, a flock of birds Soared above, Tracing a perfect heart Across the sky. I knew right then, They shared the secret too. "Who told everyone?" I cried, "Who spread my secret around?" Just then, a breeze Brushed gently past. I stopped the wind, Blaming it for the blow. It said, "Is it my fault? Look at yourself now; You smell of love from head to toe." KHAN EAGLE
