Abouna Mina Aboud was a humble Coptic priest who served with pure love at the Church of St. Mina in Al-Arish. He spent his short priesthood teaching hymns, caring for his people, and remaining faithful even in danger. On 6 July 2013, extremists stopped him near the church and

Guys, this is honestly one of the most shameful and degrading things I’ve seen from a Coptic girl. A Coptic Orthodox Christian girl who claims to be proud of her faith posted a video saying she would name her son “Mohamad Saleh Mustafa Shubair Treziki Ziko”. I genuinely

🚨🚨🚨🚨Guys, in just one week, three Coptic Orthodox priests and their communities were violently attacked in Egypt. First, Father Antonios Zaher, 61 years old from Ain Shams in Cairo, was beaten with sticks by three women over a parking spot. He has a heart stent and was injured. Shockingly, the victim was initially detained. Second, Father Matta Rashdy, 49 years old in Dahab, Sinai, was attacked while trying to peacefully mediate a street fight. He was beaten with a tree trunk while protecting his 17-year-old son. The whole thing was caught on camera. Third, in the village of Al-Tell Al-Qibliya in Minya, Copts leaving church were assaulted with stones, the priest’s car was smashed, the church electricity was cut off, and worshippers were trapped inside. This is not random violence. This is a clear and dangerous pattern of targeting Coptic clergy and communities across Egypt. Priests are being attacked simply for doing their job and existing as Christians. The authorities make some arrests, but the deeper problem remains: Copts are still treated as second-class citizens whose safety and places of worship can be violated with little real accountability.
