Little know fact that these fighters actually fought against ISIS, Al Nusra / Al Qaeda once they went rogue. From what I have learned, these fighters are more disciplined and more trusted by locals than some of FSA due to the generational blood feud of the latter. 13 years in Syria, we have witnessed transformation of paramilitary groups and establishment of Muslim version of Black Rock or Wagner which isn’t founded by Obama / Rumsfeld.
