Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max after 8 months: sides are covered with microscopic chips in the annodization - especially bad around the USB-C port. tiny grains of dirt/sand became trapped between the case and phone during everyday use. iPhone has spent its entire life inside of an Apple Clear Case with Magsafe.
