i have never seen a child written this terribly in my entire life. ZERO love for his mother. NO CHILD who was separated from their mother like this would be so happy. NO CHILD who heard their mother crying and screaming their name behind them as they were being separated from her wouldn’t look back. NO CHILD leaves their mother standing there with her arms open and runs off to someone else. NO CHILD repeatedly rejects their mother. NO CHILD wants to live away from her. NO CHILD looks at their mother with resentment when they have a loving mother who gives them all her love and time and always has kind words for them… please, this is painfully unrealistic.
