Kiambu is a region, and we have the numbers to stand on our own. With over 1.5 million votes, we have the capacity to form and sustain our own political party. We cannot continue being politically subordinate to leaders from Nyeri or Murang’a. It is time for Kiambu to assert its political voice, negotiate from a position of strength, and chart its own political destiny.

Makueni politician Urbanus Wambua, alias "Kanzala Kana," has been arrested after a recorded clip allegedly captured him urging young men to arm themselves with bows, poisoned arrows and spears to attack and kill pro-Ruto MPs from Ukambani, claiming their bodies should be taken to Sugoi for burial.
