Exclusive images: Kasarani is in progress to meet the AFCON 2027 deadline. The grass was planted last week but one and should be up within 14-28 days. They are also adding more sky boxes as required. If the government pays the contractor and stays on schedule, Kenya 🇰🇪 will host AFCON. Next tweet: training venues.

In relation to my earlier tweet and Facebook post, it seems many Kenyans don't know what a skybox is. These two videos show what a skybox looks like and what the whole experience is like. It’s extremely expensive. No simsim hawking, crisps za chwani, chang’aa ya Dandora or isukuti dancers. They want 61 of these at Kasarani. I have only been to the Skybox in Qatar and Morocco. The next one I'll be is at Talanta Stadium to see Gor Mahia v Shabana ikiwa 3-0 at half-time

The main Talanta City stadium doesn’t have a running track because it will be a football and rugby-only stadium. However, there are three mini-stadia, one of which has a running track and 1,500 seats, and can host Athletics as well as small football/rugby games. With additional bleachers, this is enough for a sevens rugby leg, some school games, Kenya Cup games etc
