Don't you think it’s a bad precedent you are setting?” Kenya coach Benni McCarthy was put to task by journalist William Abala- SportsRadar on why he continues to reward loyalty over competitiveness in some cases.

😂😂😂🇰🇪Very bad precedent. McCarthy himself twice retired from Bafana Bafana when it clashed with his club career in Europe. He should be lenient with Shummah.

@AbalaWilliam What kind of question is this? Imagine Maurinho being asked this question. Benni must just come back home and leave that village. They’re being disrespectful now.

@AbalaWilliam Kenyans have gotten so comfortable with mediocrity and bad leadership that when someone actually stands up for their rights, we question them for it. Shouldn't we be backing fellow Kenyans and demanding accountability from FKF leadership instead?

Rich Paul calls out people who claim LeBron James stacks his teams to ring chase throughout his career 👀 “It’s confusing because what are you supposed to chase? Aluminum cans? I don’t think he chases anything I just think you want to put yourself in the best competitive position to have a chance of winning. It’s very confusing when you see players talk about ring chasing. Especially players who don’t have a ring. — I just don’t understand how people get up everyday and try to nitpick at you for trying to put yourself in the best position” (Via Game Over)

Ben Horowitz: Every founder experiences doubt — even Mark Zuckerberg “Congratulations on betting on yourself,” a16z co-founder Ben Horowitz tells an audience full of founders. “Your job is to make your bet payoff. You believed in yourself enough to do it, and there are going to be many times when you question that bet. But that gets you nothing.” Ben offers the following advice: “You just have to do your thing, keep going, and focus on what you can do. The doubts are going to be there, but ignore the doubts. The worst doubts aren’t the ones people put on you; they’re the ones that you put on yourself. Every entrepreneur has them. I spent a lot of time with Mark Zuckerberg when he was 22 years old, and he had tremendous doubt about whether [Facebook] was going to make it. Everybody has that.” He continues: “It’s not what you feel. It’s what you do. So just focus on what you do. You’re going to feel scared. If your guts aren’t boiling, you’re not even trying at these things. Don’t worry about it.” Source: speedrun (Oct 2025)

I asked a former mobster who was jailed in Epstein's cell if it’s even possible to hang yourself and break your neck in those cells. His answer was blunt: ‘You just can’t do it, this was a setup’: Michael Franzese: “These are low bunks. There’s nothing to tie a sheet on to enable yourself to do that. He was also on suicide watch. Cameras were conveniently not working.. Those cameras are always working.” “You had to hope to get a blanket. It was so cold there. They only gave you one set of clothing. The cells were barren.. You had nothing in there… This was a setup. Nothing makes sense.”

“If you are not sure you even believe in God, start there. Understand that in the absence of experiences with God, one can doubt the existence of God. So, put yourself in a position to begin having experiences with Him…Ask Him if He knows you. Ask Him how He feels about you. And then listen.” ❤️

.Secular Talk (KyleKulinskiShow@bsky.social) was a little out of his depth debating Michael Knowles, so he resorted to calling Michael names and making vulgar gestures... But don't worry, Michael put him in his place: "I think you've hoisted yourself with your own petard and then you just make a lot of vulgar non sequiturs because you don't have a leg to stand on."

BASIA MICHAELS – QT SPORTS In summary: ▪︎ Supporters and others have no right to question where their favourite footballers choose to play. ▪︎ They won’t put food on the table for any player. ▪︎ Hugo Broos was sexist in his remarks, and he did not even apologise. ▪︎ Players must be selected for Bafana Bafana regardless of where they play. The competitiveness of the league should not matter. ▪︎ I am right, and everyone else is wrong. ▪︎ Bafana Bafana lost at AFCON because of poor coaching. Hugo Broos drifted away from football matters and focused on side issues. ▪︎ Mbokazi is happy. Pirates bosses are happy. It doesn’t matter what anyone else says. 😔😔

Jordan peterson on why it's so hard to sit down and study: 1. You sit down to study. your intent is clear: study. but you know distractions will flood in non-stop, and there's almost nothing you can do but wait them out. 2. it's not random noise. there are little subsystems inside you that want something else. one wants a sandwich. one wants a cigarette. one suddenly needs to clean under the bed. they pop up and fight you for control. 3. they get sneaky too. you'll start thinking "this is a stupid course. why am i even in university. what's the point of life." you can really get going when you're trying to avoid your homework. 4. so ask yourself. you took the course. you told yourself to sit down. why don't you listen? the honest answer is you're a mess. you don't have control over yourself at all. 5. and the less put-together you are, the less you run these systems and the more they run you. it can get badly out of hand. 6. you've felt it elsewhere. attracted to someone you don't even want to be attracted to. texting them late at night when you know you should be asleep. in the grip of something you can't control.

Great perspective from Notre Dame Football Coach Marcus Freeman (Marcus Freeman) on why he feels he must remind his players to choose hard: "Struggle with what you have." Everyone starts from a different place. Some people are born on third base. Others have never even seen a triple. But growth isn't determined by where you begin, it's determined by the challenges you're willing to embrace. When you step onto the field, the court, or into any defining moment, nobody cares where you started. What matters is how you've prepared, how you've responded to adversity, and how you've conditioned yourself for the grinding opportunity in front of you. It's a daily choice. The hard way is the right way. Choose hard! Especially when life makes easy available.

🇺🇸 CHARLIE KIRK: FATHERHOOD DEMANDS EVERYTHING YOU HAVE "When it comes to your child, you are tasked to protect them, both physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Once you have kids, there is this primal thing that comes into you, where, if you think you've worked hard before, when you have to go feed a child and provide for a family, you are willing to go to the ends of the Earth and push yourself in ways that you never thought possible. And that is your initial and most important task as a father." Source: Turning Point USA
