Brilliant rejuvenation of city river in Vadodara 🇮🇳! The Vishwamitri River has caused a lot of pain to this historic city in Gujarat. Now flooding will be controlled by building of dams and lakes. 48 kilometer of river front will be brought back to old splendor - with beautiful plants and varied fauna - as well as playgrounds, cafes and vendor shops at the river front. There are even crocodiles in Vishwamitri and a sanctuary will be established. Congrats to the good people of Vadodara and my friend city commisioner Arun Mahesh Babu for extraordinary work!

From drought to water abundance in India 🇮🇳 Dholakia Foundation supported by the government of Gujarat, has built 180 dams and lakes in Amreli district. They have widened and deepened the riverbeds. This brings new life to local farmers and help save the endangered Asian lion. Great for people, wonderful for Mother Earth:

The most wonderful travel experience on planet earth. Cruising through the beautiful landscapes of China 🇨🇳 in 350 km per hour. Absolute comfort, eating good food, trains always on time. China the last fifteen years has built 45 000 km high speed rail - that is a distance from Beijing to Paris return, three times.

Rwanda 🇷🇼 shows the way - bringing back nature. Twenty years ago these beautiful green hills were deforested. Now Forest of Hope Association (FHA) is bringing back chimpanzees, wildlife and the beautiful forests. It’s a lot to learn from Rwanda! My report from Gishwati Makura National Park:

1500 years ago an Indian Prince traveled all the way from southern India 🇮🇳 to Central China 🇨🇳. After spending nine years in a cave in Henan contemplating the fate of humanity he came out teaching the Right Ways. Thats the start of what is known as Zen Buddhism, later spreading to Japan, Korea and beyond. He saw that the monks were in bad physical shape and started martial arts. Thats what became Kong Fu. The amazing, wonderful story of the Shaolin Temple, linking the great Indian and Chinese civilizations:
