Man who allegedly dressed as a woman and lived with female roommates caught after months A man who allegedly dressed like a woman and lived in the same house with female roommates has been exposed. According to the account, the man had been living among the women while presenting himself as female. When he was eventually confronted, he reportedly claimed that he “does women’s work” The situation reportedly shocked the female roommates, who said they had been completely comfortable around him, sometimes changing clothes and discussing private matters in his presence because they believed he was a woman.

An Indian woman married to an Igbo man has opened up about the challenges she has faced while living with her husband’s people in a village in Imo State. A Nigerian man identified as Phillip Elobuike, has reunited with his family after ten years of being missing. A Nigerian lady spotted him on the streets of Dallas, Texas in the US on Sunday, August 9, carrying bags containing his personal items. She suspected something wasn’t right with him and decided to help. She asked him some questions and found out that he is an indigene of Enugu State. He gave the names of his mum and sisters as Evelyn and Josephine Elobuike. She posted a video of Phillip and appealed to social media users to help find his family. Thankfully, hours after the video went viral, Phillip’s uncle and sister reached out to her. They said they hadn’t seen him in the last ten years. The young lady appreciated everyone who joined hands to help relocate Phillip’s family. She mentioned that the video she shared was posted in a Whatsapp group where Phillip’s Uncle was in and able to identify him.

Man arrested for setting wife on fire in Kogi The Kogi State Police Command has arrested one Jacob Irewa for allegedly setting his wife, Berida Irawo, on fire. The incident happened on Friday, August 14, 2026 at Oworo Estate, Felele, Lokoja. The spokesperson of the command, ASP Salisu Afusat, who disclosed this in a statement on Sunday said the man was arrested for alleged attempted culpable homicide. “On Friday, 14th August 2026, at about 2030 hours, the B Division Surveillance Team, Felele, received a report of the incident and immediately mobilised to the scene, where the suspect was arrested,” the statement read. “Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident followed a domestic disagreement after the victim burnt some of the suspect’s clothes which she believed he was no longer using, without his permission. “The suspect subsequently threatened her, fetched petrol from his motorcycle and proceeded to set her ablaze.” She said the victim survived the attack and was currently receiving treatment at Honey Gold Hospital, Felele. “The suspect, in his statement to the Police, admitted to setting his wife ablaze. The Command has commenced a comprehensive investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and gather further evidence.”
