An amazing Tesla lightshow took place in Amiens, France yesterday.🇫🇷 More than 60 (!) Teslas gathered for a get-together. And so I did! I drove from Sweden to Belgium yesterday, with the new Tesla Model Y LR. One of the features I’m most impressed about is the adaptive high beams in this car. This video was taken in The Netherlands and if you look closely you see how the lights adapt all the time, and also all over. It focuses strongly on the signs next to the road and very clearly blocks away oncoming traffic. When the traffic has gone away you see how it immediately lights up the left area again. I’ve even seen my Tesla light up signs further away. Also worth mentioning that it performs equally well under busy circumstances, as I have experienced in Germany yesterday. It’s astonishing to experience and makes driving this car even safer and more fun… Well done Tesla, you have succeeded in making the safest car even safer by adding this feature. Yesterday, Tesla Inside and myself took a ride with FSD in Eindhoven! 🚗💨 I was super excited to finally experience it firsthand, I’ve been waiting for it for so long.. The most impressive moment? FSD spotted a car parked halfway on the road. The car checked the blind spot just like a human driver, waited for a safe gap, and maneuvered around it smoothly. Zero stress, pure intelligence! 🤖 It was also very cool to feel how the Tesla reacted to a pedestrian still further away that was going to cross the street, and also check out how the Tesla reacted to bikers that were crossing the street. Amazing! FSD Supervised in Europe: Video number 2: turning around in a very narrow dead end street. Taken in Tilburg, The Netherlands yesterday. In this video you see how the Tesla turns around in an extremely narrow dead end street. The question was: does it back up or choose to turn around. It chose to turn around. It performed very well and what was mostly interesting was that there was a curb involved. The software is created in a way where it should stay away from the curbs, and it initially did. But later in the turning process it changed approach and drove over the curve a little bit to make the turn smoother. That’s what blows my mind every time, the software is created in a way where if needed it changes plan to make things more smooth or even safer. Furthermore in this video you see how it takes some thresholds very smoothly. It also brakes a bit more in the end because of a bike in front of us. Very fascinating moment for us to experience! FSD supervised in Europe: Another great video of our drive with FSD supervised in Dusseldorf, Germany yesterday. Here you can clearly see how the Tesla Model 3 stays fully in control in a busy area again. Passing two parked vehicles in the street (on our lane), seeing the second vehicle even before me, reacting to a fast biker that suddenly comes from the right side, and smoothly driving over tramrails on the left lane with no markings on the street at all. FSD is so needed in Europe, it will not only make our lives safer but also so much more relaxed. What a pleasure it was to be in this car, even when we were not driving (yet). Even though some msm channels and people say otherwise the demand for Teslas in Europe is high and rising! Just look at the statistics in the different countries of this continent. In Norway for example Tesla has already beaten last years Q1 with still three weeks to go. FSD Supervised in Europe: First video of our experiences yesterday when driving with a Tesla that used FSD Supervised. Driving in Tilburg, The Netherlands. In this video you see that the Tesla takes a left turn into a narrow street. Very typical streetsize in The Netherlands and many other European countries. There’s a delivery truck standing on the road in a not so convenient way. I am extremely impressed that the Tesla decided to pass it but also how it did it. In these specific situations you so feel that the car looks all around (360 view) all the time and drives based on all that input. FSD supervised in Europe: Another video on our trip through Düsseldorf, Germany. In this video you see how the Tesla moves away from a bike on our lane and also moves away from a car that is parking on our lane. Driving with FSD is also very efficient. You also see how the car changes its plan last minute. End of the video it was blinking left to go to the left lane but changed plan and stayed on the right side. We now know that that was needed for the next intersection... Using all the cameras and data to make decisions that keep you moving forward the best way possible is very cool to see and efficient. FSD Supervised in Europe: A new video shot in Dusseldorf during our FSD Supervised drive recently. Here you so clearly see that FSD does not need any lines etc on the street, even when its very unclear where to drive it finds its way so easily. It gives such a safe feeling... You also see how the Tesla two times adjusts completely to pedestrians that are crossing the street. First time after a green light for us, second time also when we get a green light, you see that the last pedestrian is still a bit out on the street (on our left side) and so the Tesla drove away very carefully, moving a bit away to the right.
