yeonjung: i went out there (pd101) way too raw back then, so i feel like if i went on now, i could probably do way better. somi: but then you probably wouldn't get picked again. yeonjung: no but honestly, off the record, since i was a member who got dropped from the debut lineup, the company literally sent me there without even giving a single botox shot for me. yeonjung: i mean, it's TV after all. LMAO YEONJUNG 😭😭😭😭😭

this is INSANE. this is what it's like being an ioi manager who has to handle 9 members from 9 different companies (8 actually). even for a single group photo, they have to get confirm from all 9 companies first. there are so many group chats, and if you don't check them for just 10 mnts, there'll already be hundreds of messages waiting. whenever a schedule is planned, they have to confirm it with all 9 companies. if even one company can't make it work, they have to reschedule everything and go through the whole confirmation process all over again.

🐶 that’s why i have this routine now, whenever i meet a new dance choreographer, i tell them first, “sonsaengnim, don't be surprised, just hear me out first. ever since long ago, i kinda have this thing where i cry during dance practice. so if i suddenly start crying, don't be shocked. that just means i'm getting more focused on the dance, so just don't mind me.” 🐶 the members know about it now too. at first they were worried like, “unnie, are you crying? are you okay?” but i hate when that embarrassing side of me gets noticed, i just want everyone to focus on their own stuff. 👨🏻 so they don't focus on me? 🐶 yeah, so i told them, “guys, i always cry when i dance anyway, so don't worry about it, just keep doing what you're doing.” and after that, now whenever the members see me crying, they just glance over at me for a second. and later if they catch me crying again they'll just go, “guys, look, sejeong's crying again ㅋㅋㅋ”

before sejeong joined the live, yeonjung & somi were like, "it's okay unnie, we're all barefaced anyway, we look like this because we just finished practice," but sejeong refused and had to do a quick touch-up first. chaeyeon & somi were filming her and reenacting how chaotic sejeong was while rushing to touch up her makeup 😭

yeonjung: to be honest, the reunion actually fell through once or twice before. even this time, everyone was kind of half-believing and half-doubting, wondering, "could it end up like that again this time?" but among ourselves, there was this unspoken understanding that if it fell through again this time, then it would really be over forever. we were like, "whether we like it or not, let's stick together and carry this through. let's make it happen." i think that's why it was able to come together in the end. chungha: when we come together as a group, we lose money. working individually is much... (better). yeonjung: honestly, we weren't preparing this from a financially comfortable situation. but because people knew we weren't making money from this, people like, "i'll just give up the money too and join anyway." there were so many people who helped us, and this was because of those people too. that's why this album is truly love.

sejeong pls stop being funny 😭 they were wondering why they named the group gugudan 👨🏻 i mean, even bangtansonyeondan (BTS) sounded kinda unfamiliar at first too, right? so i think they probably thought gugudan was the same, like, once people got used to it, they'd immediately recognize and understand it. 🐶 back then, there were actually a lot of group names like that. but in the end now everyone just calls them BTS anyway (positively). 🐶 so like them, gugudan could’ve become GGD too (if we got successful enough.) 🐧 (trying not to laugh) 👨🏻 ah, so you were waiting for that day to come? 🐶 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ and suddenly the entire comment section was full of “GGD” LOL 😭

i knew it, the girls felt the exact same way we did. and this is for everyone who kept wondering why idols, especially sejeong, used to appear on literally every variety show back then but now not as often anymore, they kinda had no choice but to do all that so they could keep doing other things too, glad that these things have changed now
