This is from *Cherry 2000* (1987). Melanie Griffith walking around in that sheer white robe, trying to talk a big armored android into going with her… pure 80s cheese and I love it. The whole movie is this weird mix of post-apocalyptic adventure, comedy, and that classic over-the-top style they don’t make anymore. It’s not high art, but it’s fun as hell if you’re in the mood for something campy. I’d give it a solid 7/10. Classic guilty pleasure.

Just watched this intense hotel scene from *The Girlfriend Experience* (2016) and damn… Riley Keough is unreal in it. She’s playing the high-end escort who takes the cash, tries to stay in control, then the whole thing gets way too real and she just bails. The awkward tension, the power shift, the way she shuts it down — pure discomfort in the best way. Soderbergh’s style makes every second feel clinical and raw at the same time. Sharp, uncomfortable, and super well-acted. Solid 8/10. If you like quiet, psychological character studies with that cold modern vibe, this series hits hard.

Just saw this scene from Can’t Buy Me Love (1987). Patrick Dempsey’s face when he sees her kissing the other guy at the party… every guy who’s been there felt that in his chest. The quiet walk out to the car hits different. Pure 80s heartbreak done right. My rating: 7.5/10. Still holds up.

Just finished Butterfly (2025) on Prime and that father-daughter reveal hit different 🔥 Daniel Dae Kim as David and Reina Hardesty as Rebecca… pure tension. She thinks she’s hunting some random target, then boom — it’s the dad she thought was dead for nine years, setting traps just to pull her out of a dark organization. The chases, the warehouse confrontation, that moment she chooses him over her team… solid spy thriller with real emotional weight. Not perfect, but the chemistry and twists keep you locked in. Easy 8/10. If you like action with family drama layered in, this one’s worth the watch.
