Recently made some typography animation shots at Flatwhitemotion. Some people questioned if I was using video track. But in fact I just used some zooming and position to match the camera movement.

I was quite curious about how to recreate Apple’s motion in After Effects, but it’s pretty clear I failed…I think you could give it a try too!

Here’s some bts,Honestly, doing this kind of work in Cavalry really takes strong taste, both in terms of visuals and design. I was trying to recreate style frames the designer gave me, and on the other, I was figuring out how to make it work even better in Cavalry

I've always loved Martin Naumann designs, the colors are beautiful. I'm glad to see tutorials for these designs, and I tried recreating them in After Effects using Mir. It was a fun experiment. Thanks again for sharing.

I completed the animation for these perfect designs for the Creamfields 2024 | Zenless Zone Zero at flatwitemotion. I’ll be sharing some bts soon, make sure to check out the full version! We put a lot of effort into each design, and every animation is really crazy!

This is the BTS from the calligraphy exhibition animation I made with a few months ago in Hong Kong. Most of it was done in Cavalry , and a little bit in After Effects. And yes… I’m still that weirdo who keyframes every single shot by hand.

This is my MotionFlashback for this year, basically a tiny “business card” I throw out into the world. I’ve been doing this every year since Ordinary Folk started the tradition back in 2019 It kind of sums up my whole year, my mindset, my habits, and all things I got obsessed

We pulled this off in just about two weeks, using a mix of tools like After Effects, TouchDesigner, Cavalry, and Blender. I’ll share the parts I worked on and some bts stuff later.

Last month, I did some visual exploration and tech tests for a project at the studio. Most of them didn’t really make it into the final thing but I thought it was a waste to just leave them sitting in After Effects. So I cut them together into a little video!
