Thursday afternoon (November 13) in Gwanghwamun, the Organizing Committee of the World Interreligious Clergy Peace Rally for Religious Freedom held a press conference before King Sejong’s statue. Leaders such as Pastor Thomas Barrett, Patriarch Chrysostom Shelley, Archbishop Sulanch Lewis, Anne Lalo, Pastor Seo Jin-woo, and many others joined over 50 representatives from Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Catholicism, Donghak, and Confucianism — all standing together to support religious freedom and the release of Dr. Hak Ja Han. More than 500 people gathered outside the Japanese embassy in Washington D.C. yesterday, March 19th, to appeal to visiting Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi and the country of Japan.
