Wayne Gretzky’s 1988 Stanley Cup hockey stick is a highly prized piece of sports history because it was used by “The Great One” during one of the most memorable seasons of his career. In 1988, Gretzky led the Edmonton Oilers to win their fourth Stanley Cup in five years, solidifying their dynasty in the NHL. It was also his FINAL Stanley Cup victory. Celebrity influencer and WWE star Logan Paul bought the stick for $336,000 in an auction, setting a record for the highest-sale for an NHL-used hockey stick. He first revealed he purchased the Gretzky memorabilia to his girlfriend in his show Paul American, leading to her disappointed reaction. 😅😂 Paul doesn’t regret the purchase though, “I paid $336,000 for it. But that’s Wayne Gretzky. He’s the “Great One”. He’s number 99. He’s Wayne Gretzky. There’s greatness in the stick. I felt it. I held the stick, and I could feel the Gretz spell.”
