80+ minutes in and the team’s running on empty. We go long to the CF to give the defenders a breather but he can’t hold it up, ends up on the ground and the ball comes straight back. These are basic striker fundamentals and he just can’t provide them consistently for us

Arsenal were chasing Rodrygo, Nico W, Rapha etc last summer, profiles at a clearly higher level, and somehow ended up on Madueke as a "good" alternative. It feels less like strategy & more like settling for the easiest, cheapest option instead of looking beyond the usual market
