I'll keep hoping for ports of both games, Mana Khemia is very good and deserves to come back It blends many things together (school, alchemy &amp; light calendar systems) yet feels very unique and charming. The battle system also gets very fun (think FFX on steroids with more depth)

I want more RPGs like Radiata Stories! Each NPC is unique and follows their own schedule (like Majora's Mask but bigger), the world is so lively. There's 175 characters to recruit. You can also kick everyone and everything! Some NPCs will duel you if you kick them too much lol

I'm sad Ryuji Sasai didn't do much for videogames since 1998 outside of some mobile RPGs. He really was one of the best composers at Squaresoft in the 90s and that says a lot with all the talents they had (song is "Strange Encounter" from the game Rudra no Hihou)

Tried the beginning of Arc Rise Fantasia on Wii. Mocked for its awful english dub (you can find about it on YT), better playing it undub! Nice Tales of-like artstyle, great OST and an interesting TB combat (positioning + AP shared between all party). Might add to the backlog 😅

Happy 26th Anniversary to Chrono Cross on Playstation. A special game that I consider to be an improvement from Chrono Trigger - an already good game - in pretty much every aspect. The atmosphere is unmatched, and Yasunori Mitsuda gave us one of the best soundtracks ever.

SaGa Emerald Beyond doesn't just have arguably the best turn-based combat ever, it got another amazing soundtrack by Kenji Ito too

Valkyrie Profile gives you the best RPG prologue before its title screen. A 10-minutes long cutscene treating themes like child abuse and trafficking, death, and such. Masterpiece.
