While Paris’ Autopia were converted to hybrid (or a battery which is powered by a generator) a couple years ago, new to me there seems to be a collision avoidance system to prevent bumping. Even with my foot fully depressed, the car slowed to a stop with another car in front.

The star tunnel works so well because of the calming, down tempo synth BGM and the sound absorbing panels. It’s rare to find a queue space as calming as this. I hope this is preserved.

They fixed the final scene of Living with the Land and the brightness of the lighted people pulses again with the music! Thank you so much to whomever in maintenance fixed this! 👏

Crying because how is this my life

Oh my god Ariel number 2 has been refurbished (including fin!) and Ursula is moving like it’s 1989! Feels like they’re working from end to beginning based on where the broken and fixed show elements are.

I leave you alone for a month and you’ve got Toy Story characters in Frontierland?!?

Related? 💡 The lighting around the Epcot entrance has been completely fixed 💡 The problematic lighting on both restrooms which has been malfunctioning for well over a year is turned off 💡 All lights on SSE function (unlike a few days ago) 💡 Light towers look perfect

Adorable!! I love it!! Going into this park with so few spoilers is the most amazing thing

Finally saw Olaf in Hong Kong! Compared to Olaf in Paris (who I haven’t seen since July), HK’s looks a bit better with no exposed shoulder bolt, slightly more vivid nose, and he talks soooo much more! 🥕 His operator with the box was extremely talented.

Tonight at Disney on Broadway, they surprised Kara Lindsey with her Newsies co-stars planted in the audience and sang King of New York to her. She did amazing having no clue this was going to happen!

Disney Halloween Time giant pumpkin has been installed at the foot of Main Street at Hong Kong Disneyland! 🎃

Olaf says HELL NO

Today is the last day the EPCOT40 show will play until the next break in festivals. To see guests entering the park and raising their hands like the Illuminations globe pyro bursts in sync to the music is proof of the undying legacy of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. 😭❤️

There assumptions that Peter and Wendy would fly in Starlight. I had 2 good looks at Peter and Wendy tonight and didn’t see any out of service hanging apparatus and the placement of surrounding props would make flying very tight. Would love to see them fly!

🌼 My review of Fantasy Springs 🌼 Overall: Nice enough. Doesn’t belong in TDS (sorry) Top: Frozen Journey. Excellent! Every nuanced element of the show programming is a masterclass. 😍 Bottom: Pan. My low expectations were not met. Should’ve never been built (I’m very sorry)

In the Frozen show, with full programmed movements and pre-recorded Josh Gad dialogue, he’s MAGICAL! Olaf should’ve never been marketed as a roaming character since he won’t be roaming the land. He’s either controlled via a handheld console (limited phrases) or by programming.

As part of Cool Kids Summer, Wilderness Lodge has this very different show (yes these 3 are all actors). It amounted to taking very large items out of small bags. Guests didn’t seem enamoured with it, so maybe just allocate the budget to even more character meets?

A Kilimanjaro Safaris animal spotting guide mug! 😍🤯

They played Spectromagic at EPCOT and I really need this to be a sign of things to come

Reminder: The former Grand Floridian Society Orchestra, now named Palm Beach Society Orchestra, plays monthly at Pilars in Winter Garden. No cover and excellent cocktails!
