I am enjoying Alex Onyia’s audacity. His can-do attitude is out of this world. Visiting his page is time well spent. All I see is value for money. I don’t think that Nigerians can truly appreciate the magnitude of what he has started, at least not yet! As a serious nation, these are exactly the types of conversations we ought to be having. He called them the “The three wise men,” & I concur. I see a breath of fresh air. This is a far departure from Pella & Big Brother Naija. This is no “Olodo Uprising.” Finally, I have found the hill I will die on. Exposing the children to a world-class education at this formative stage has changed their worldviews completely These children are Geniuses already. They only needed a little exposure to complete a perfect triumvirate. Alex just armed the kids with a powerful weapon. Now they feel like they can take on the world. Twenty years from now, the world will definitely hear their name & fame. The South East Maths Olympiad & the ongoing STEM Olympiad in Rome are eye-openers. I love the fact that his team streamed the 2026 South East Maths Olympiad Grand Finale, where the winners emerged. I am glad the entire process was conducted publicly. By doing so, he cleared doubts & ensured that utmost integrity & transparency were met. Tribalism should not be allowed in education. The politics of Nepotism & Quota System should have no business in education. Merit & transparency should be the only yardsticks. LET THE BEST OF US LEAD THE REST OF US! WESTERN EDUCATION SAVED CHINA! The four Asian Tigers (Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, & Taiwan) did not grow by selling akara, agbado, nor kulikuli. If Nigeria will make it, then STEM Education is the only forward. My only fear is retainership. Nigeria is going to lose these brains to America, Canada, China, Germany, Australia, & the UK. They will excel, but not in Nigeria. We will continue to sell ourselves short. Tribalism, religion, & politics will continue to rob Nigeria of its greatness. Congratulations to Alex & his team. I hope to them not only excel but expand what they started to the national. He has launched an initiative that could change the fortunes of Nigeria for good. He needs all the support he can get. Young Nigerians are on fire! Leave everything & listen to our Gen Z speak. I’m so proud of them! Why should anyone pay over ₦600K for a substandard education in a public university? NELFUND is a Ponzi Scheme. The APC almost got away with it. They removed the subsidy in Education, & ‘public’ school fees skyrocketed! To make matters worse, you told them to borrow from you before they could go to school. How much did you pay to attend a public school? Which school did you attend? Their struggling parents can barely afford food & rent. Where do you expect them to fetch the 600K from? From the poverty you created? We have to speak for these young minds. We should never make the mistake of abandoning them. Education is a RIGHT, not a privilege! Over ₦600K in a “public” university without functional laboratories, electricity, R&D, & a conducive environment for higher learning, is no education, but punishment! You are denying our children their right to a guaranteed future. Education was under attack in eleven years. They want to keep you poor & uneducated. Asiwaju is an octogenarian. He is not part of Nigeria’s future debates. His Generation are already on their way out. We Millennials ‘may’ have failed. But the APC cannot withstand the Generation Zoomers. The youngest among them is 15 years. The oldest just turned 30. They came of age on Sai Buhari’s watch. We must keep their fire alive. They are the ones to carry the torch. They are legatees of the New Nigeria that is POssible. They will protect the right of Nigerians to choose. The future belongs to these young minds, & we must protect their right to a quality & affordable education. We must teach, guide, & protect them. WE MUST!

I have read the gory stories of the events of yesterday, & I'm very much terrified. Reports say that lives were lost in Ekpoma. Shot by the police & the army, scores were injured as well. They shot at civilians & arrested students in their hostels. Everyone should their voice to this cause, because media reports have been nothing but underwhelming. We mustn’t abandon the people of Ekpoma because the protests had EndSARS theme; Nigerian authorities are yet to learn any lesson. Many were outside; people got obviously tired of waiting to be k!lled, so they took to the streets. Now students are leaving. Freshmen want to write JAMB again, they will do anything (just to leave the school environment). School surrounding is not safe, Ekpoma itself is not! Kidnappers demand as high as N100 million from students as ransom, & kill them when they fail to raise it. Where do you want Edo students to get that large amount of money from? Children from Ekpoma protested against the insecurity in their state. And in keeping with tradition, the police opened fire as usual. Many were arrested for having the temerity to protest for their dear lives. Another kidnapping happened in a home in Ekpoma in broad daylight, around 6 O’Clock yesterday. It drastically reduces the amount FG spends on NELFUND. But is anyone the least surprised that this is coming at a time when Nigerian pupils are winning the Cambridge IGCSE English & Mathematics? It came when our children are smashing the International STEM Olympiad & the Pan African Maths Olympiad (PAMO). Education came under attack in 11 years! “My people perish for lack of knowledge.” The APC are against any attempt to emancipate the people. But we won’t allow this crazy hike to stand. Davis alleged that Sheriff sponsored youths for religious pilgrimages where they were recruited into the terrorist group. The news was reported internationally in 2014. ‘The Sydney Morning Herald’ ran exclusive editorial on these claims. BACK IN NIGERIA: Alhaji Buji Foi (also spelled Fai) served as Borno State’s Commissioner for Religious Affairs. He was appointed to the cabinet by former Governor Ali Modu Sheriff. The year was 2003. Alhaji Buji Foi was a national secretary of the Yusufiyya movement (the foundational group that became the Boko Haram). He was a close associate of the sect leader, Mohammed Yusuf. This was widely reported as a political pact to secure Boko Haram's support for Sheriff's 2003 gubernatorial campaign. After Governor Sheriff allegedly failed to fully implement the strict Sharia penal code he had promised, Buji Foi, along with other sect members, became disillusioned & resigned from his government. When the Boko Haram uprising broke out in July 2009, Buji Foi was publicly identified as a key financier & a member of the sect. He was arrested at his farmhouse & was extrajudicially executed in police custody at the Police Headquarters in Maiduguri, in late July 2009. The Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana, publicly accused former Borno State Governor, Ali Modu Sheriff of sponsoring the Boko Haram. He made these allegations in September 2014. Femi Falana alleged that Sheriff's government had a deal with the sect for political support during the 2003 elections, which included appointing a Boko Haram member as a cabinet commissioner. Falana further revealed that Sheriff was arrested in Cameroon in 2012 for his alleged ties to the group, but was released after the Nigerian government intervened. The SAN then issued a seven-day ultimatum to the Federal Government of Nigeria, demanding the prosecution of Sheriff based on the findings of the Ambassador Usman Galtimari Panel. The Panel was inaugurated by Jonathan in August 2011 to investigate the root causes & the origins of the Boko Haram insurgency. Ali Sheriff should have let sleeping dogs. He decided to run a fool’s errand for a selfish mandate — when Nigerians were almost forgetting his past. A tip of the iceberg.
