$🚨 Another Life Lost in Hinjawadi Due to Heavy Vehicle Accident 💔 How many more citizens must die before authorities act? A tech hub like Hinjawadi cannot afford to lose lives due to negligence and lack of safety standards in heavy vehicles. 💡 Our IT Forum demands immediate action: 1️⃣ Mandatory GPS-based monitoring (like MagicJack) to track speed, hard braking & reckless driving in real-time. 2️⃣ Cabin & Dash Cameras 🎥 in all heavy vehicles to record driver behavior and prevent rash driving. 3️⃣ Anti-Collision & Proximity Sensors ⚙️ must be compulsory — they cost a fraction of the vehicle’s price but can save countless lives. 4️⃣ Side & Rear Cameras to eliminate blind spots. 5️⃣ Just as seat belts and airbags are mandatory for cars, the same rule must apply to collision sensors, proximity alerts, and safety cameras in heavy vehicles. These are life-saving essentials, not optional accessories. 🏗️ Vehicle manufacturers must also be held accountable — dumpers and heavy trucks without modern safety measures are death machines on wheels. They cannot be sold without meeting basic safety norms. We urge State Transport Dept, Police & RTO to take immediate note and make these safety technologies mandatory, just as they are for passenger vehicles.
