There are decisions in a marriage that require discussion. Finances. Moving. Buying a house. Major career changes. Bringing home a German Shepherd is not one of them. He walked through that door like, “Good news, we have a dog now.” And judging by that smile, this man has absolutely no regrets.

This is why adults shouldn't pick on kids. Their parents are going to be nearby.

Apparently there’s no such thing as a one-man job when you own German Shepherds. You can fire up the tractor and head out alone, but somehow the crew is already loaded up and waiting for departure. And yes, they called shotgun.

He didn’t ask for a seminar. He said, “My daughter’s in there.” That’s not ideology. That’s a father. Notice how the argument goes when it’s your child behind the door. When did parental duty include standing guard at the bathroom door for your teenage daughter?

A guy paints over graffiti and somehow we’ve arrived at erasing black culture. I’m old enough to remember when painting over graffiti was called cleaning up the neighborhood.

I wasn’t sure where this was going for the first few seconds. A toddler, a German Shepherd, and absolutely no concept of personal space. Meanwhile, the guy watching is having the same reaction the rest of us are. Keep watching. His face at the end is worth it.

Five years old and already managing a two-dog security detail. She hugs them, gives directions, and those two full-grown German Shepherds just happily follow the tiny boss around. With those two by her side, noone is questioning who the safest kid in the neighborhood is.

They were nervous about letting this German Shepherd anywhere near the puppies. Then he realizes exactly who those little guys are. The change in him is something you need to see.

I don't think one of them feels bad at all.
